DESCRIPTION:DEVELOPED AND DELIVERED BY SDF\, FUNDED BY GLASGOW HSCP AND ADP.  \n\n\n\nTHIS SESSION IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO THOSE LIVING AND WORKING IN GLASGOW CITY COUNCIL AREA.  IF YOU ARE OUTWITH THIS AREA PLEASE SEE OUR TRAINING CALENDAR TO VIEW AVAILABLE COURSES.  \n\n\n\n\n\nThis facilitator led course aims to allow participants to understand how to effectively respond to and engage with individuals who use cannabis/synthetic cannabinoids  \n\n\n\nCourse objectives:   \n\n\n\n\nGive an overview of the current trends with cannabis including synthetic cannabinoids  \n\n\n\n\n\nRecall the main effects and side effects of cannabis  \n\n\n\n\n\nIdentify the typical presenting issues for problematic cannabis use  \n\n\n\n\n\nRecall effective techniques for working with cannabis users including harm reduction  \n\n\n\n\nInformed Level:  The informed level specifies the baseline practice-specific knowledge and skills every worker in the drugs and alcohol sector should be developing upon entering employment.  \n\n\n\n\n\nPlease do not book training on another person’s behalf\, each learner should set up their own account on the SDF Learning Centre to book their own training. This allows the learner to track their own learning progress and receive certificates on completion of training for their CPD records.
